05.24.08 ~ Mishqua & Brian

As I have previously expressed, I have a tendency to fall in love with my brides throughout the course of their wedding day, which is why my photographs feel so personal.  I tell my brides this before their wedding day and try to get them to understand why it is important for us to get to know each other so well.  Typically I will see a bride on at least four separate occasions before her wedding so that she feels completely comfortable around me, thus allowing me to photograph even the most personal moments of her day. But all that was not necessary with Mishqua, who I first met several years ago during one of those tedious three hour per day summer courses and have remained incredibly close to ever since. She was there when I was married and when I had my daughter and it was an honor to be there for her on her wedding day. Mishqua has a charm and spunk about her that simply radiates to everyone she meets.  For her to marry such a kind man as Brian simply brought tears to my eyes from behind the camera during her vows. Here are some of my favorite photographs of Mishqua, who let me push my creativity to the max during her formals.
