Melissa & Steve's Wedding at Winterthur Gardens ~ 06.20.08

Boy does this couple ever clean up well! I was stunned by how gorgeous Melissa looked when I showed up at her mother's for her getting ready photos. Her make up was flawless and her dress & jewelry were both flattering & stylish (sometimes it can be difficult to find both!). Perhaps what I like most about this couple is their sense of humor and charming nature. It is apparent to everyone that they truly enjoy being around each other in a way that only best friends do. Steve & Melissa ~ it was a joy to attend your wedding & I wish you all the best! Cheers!

06.07.08 ~ Becky & Matt's Wedding in West Chester, PA

Matt & Becky are one of those couples who are incredibly sweet yet full of fun & life.  Their day was filled with non-stop jokes and laughter and a good time was had by all! I especially loved the fact that Becky wore her Grandmother's wedding gown and was married in the church where her Grandmother was wed.  Now isn't that romantic?
Here's a lovely moment captured between Shannon & James, who I had the pleasure of photographing last fall.  Shannon and I had a good time bonding over the best way to photograph Becky's cake at the start of the reception.
A wonderful bouquet toss catch caught (how's that for a mouthful?) by my assistant. I love how the girls are in mid leap and the flowers have yet to be officially caught by either one.  The girl in the black dress ends up with the final prize at the end of the day.
I loved the way Matt was looking at Becky during their first dance.

05.31.08 ~ Stephanie & Dave's Wedding at the Lake House Inn

"Stephanie & Dave sure know how to throw a party," were the first words out of my mouth upon leaving the Lake House Inn last Saturday night. Every little detail of the entire day was simply gorgeous and well thought out. And what a fun night everyone had! The dance floor was packed the entire night and the line to the bar seemed to go on forever. Everywhere I looked, people were laughing and having a great time. Believe me, it was quite difficult to narrow the photos down to the ones I have shown here.
I love the Love Bird theme that Stephanie had woven throughout her wedding details, from love notes for guest favors to love doves on top of the cake.
I have always said that the Lake House Inn is one of my top favorite wedding spots in the Delaware Valley. The rain cleared just in time to have the ceremony right on the lake.
Stephanie had this incredible idea for a Bridal Martini Bar consisting of Something Old (Dirty Martini), Something New (a signature Chocolatinni), Something Borrowed (a delicious looking martini called Cup of Sugar), and Something Blue (Cosmo Saphire ~ which I'm guessing was blueberry flavored).
The tent was decorated to the max with creams, browns, and baby blues.
Of course we had to step out of the reception for some quick shots in front of the lake at sunset.
