Trinda & Nick ~ 05.16.08

What an honor it was to spend the day with Trinda & Nick at Talamore Country Club. The bride was delightful and extremely easy to please.  She seemed to take everything in stride - even the rainy day! The groom had a amazing sense of humor and you could tell how much he loves his bride.  Below are some of my favorite images from their wedding. Enjoy!
Trinda getting ready to put on her gorgeous gown.  Once everything came together, she looked like glamorous hollywood starlet.  Well done, Trinda!
A nice panorama shot taken by my associate.  This one will look beautiful in their album.
I always bring white umbrellas with me in case it rains.  I love how romantic it looks in these pictures with the flower in the bride's hair.
The first dance.
The decor.
The cake.
I always love a good cake fight.  By that I mean, the groom goes to mash cake in the beautiful brides face and she wants no part of it!
Some dancing candids taken throughout the night.  I love the one below of the flower girl with her ponytail in mid air.
I hope these images will help Trinda & Nick to always remember exactly how they felt on their wedding day.  Good luck you two!

Craig & Carla

I met Craig & Carla early Sunday morning at Gibraltar Gardens.  The light in the gardens appeared almost magical with the perfect blend of clarity & mistiness (is that a word?). Every once in a while I meet a couple like these two with whom I feel perfectly comfortable with. Craig & Carla ~ I hope you two had as great of a time as I did and I can't wait to shoot your wedding next May!

Laura & Justin

I met Laura and Justin on Sunday at Rockford Park.  The sun was just beginning to peak through the clouds after a very rainy weekend and the light was beautiful.  Laura and Justin are a very easy going couple and I soon found us chatting away like old friends.  I am very much looking forward to being a part of their wedding day this coming August at the Brandywine Country Club.

Amy & Don ~ 05.03.08

It was such a pleasure to attend Amy & Don's beach theme wedding at the Jersey shore. I found the entire day to be filled with the relaxed fun & excitement that can only come from being surrounded by close friends and family.  Every time I turned around Amy was smiling and laughing with either her ten special friends or two gorgeous sisters. Over all the day went smoothly and the photos turned out great. In fact these are only some of my favorites as I had originally picked out almost 40 photos I wanted to share with you all! I love the look of excitement Amy had on her face when she first put on her dress and turned around to show her mother & sisters! The back of her dress was as beautiful as the front but I especially loved the delicate beading on the bodice. Amy has a gorgeous family.  I love how her & her sisters seemed so comfortable around each other.  Below is one of my favorite shots of Amy's sister steadying her one year old daughter in the sand before the formals.  That's the daddy in the background holding her bouquet along side the bride & groom.  I know a lot of photographers set up shots to look like this, but I swear this picture just happened to turn out this way! Could it have been more perfect? It was cold, windy, and incredibly misty during the beach formals but I think that made their photos even more special.  It was like photographing in a big cloud of mystery & romance.  Ok so I know I'm being a bit dramatic but I think that part of the reason my photographs turn out so well is because of how in tune I am with my girly girlness. The casual & elegant feel of the beach was echoed in the creaminess & delicacy of the place settings. I think this shot of Amy & Don's first dance is my favorite only because they will be able to look at it twenty years from now and still be able to remember how they felt at that very moment. Good luck you two! ~ Alicia xo

Jennifer & Bryan ~ 04.26.08

When little girls dream of being a bride when they grow up, they dream of looking exactly like Jen did on her wedding day.  Glowing & full of life, Jen started beaming from the moment she stepped into her dress and didn't stop for the entire day.  Bryan & Jen's day was truly a mixture of laughter & tears, as the love of their family & friends surrounded them.
